Musa specialises in Civil and Criminal Litigation in the Magistrate and High Court. He obtained his LLB degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2016.
Musa is currently a Professional Assistant at the firm Barry Botha and Breytenbach Inc. Musa has extensive experience in litigation, Corporate and Commercial Law, Corporate Governance, and Legal Advisory Services. He commenced his legal career in 2017 as a Candidate Attorney at a well-established law firm in Pietermaritzburg, where he completed his articles and developed a strong foundation in legal practice. Following his admission in 2019, he continued serving the firm as a professional Assistant gaining valuable experience across a wide range of legal disciplines. In 2021, he founded his own legal practice. Thereafter, he joined a Corporate and Commercial Law firm in Richards Bay as a Professional Assistant. He then got an opportunity to serve as a Board Secretary Assistant, in which he gained substantial exposure to corporate governance, compliance and commercial transactions. His experience includes drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, company policies, legal opinions and due diligence reports. Beyond his professional practice Musa is the founder of a Non-Profit organisation dedicated to assist young people with university applications and access to financial aid. Through this initiative, he continues to make a meaningful contribution to youth empowerment and educational advancement within his community.
